Welcome to the Terry Parker High School Band Department.
Congratulations on joining a long-standing tradition of excellence in music education. For years, this program has been the model for High School Band programs in Duval County and the State of Florida.
Our mission is two-fold:
- Offer students an opportunity to reach their fullest potential as an individual musician, and
- Present a band program that serves the needs of our students, our school, and our community.
Our ability to progress and achieve is dependent upon our ability to function in an orderly, systematic manner as we strive to attain our goals. Each member is dependent on the other, not only for high musical standards, but even more importantly for high moral standards, strong character, and a sense of responsibility to our group.
Our motto: “PARKER PRIDE” is in effect at all times and dictates the way we conduct ourselves. |
